Description
This is looking eastward from where Jones Creek enters the St Lawrence River. It was midday and the cumulus were really starting to cook in the unstable air mass. I never heard any thunder so none of these evolved into cumulonimbus as far as I know. There were certainly showers around and I dodged on the way back to Tolton's Boathouse. It was August 8, 2008 which explains the even (not odd) numbers in the title.
I wanted to practice the handling of clouds and colours and this was the subject that caught my eye.
